G4(P)-CH4 Methane NDIR Infrared Gas Sensor (Upgraded)
Model: G4(P)-CH4
Upgraded G4 methane: 0.5%LEL resolution, T90 < 25 s, -40 to +70 ℃
The G4(P)-CH4 is the upgraded methane model of the G4 platform, based on the same dual-wavelength NDIR optical design with no oxygen dependency and no catalytic poisoning. Compared with the standard G4 series it offers higher resolution (0.5%LEL on the 0-100%LEL range), faster response (T90 < 25 s) and improved long-term stability, with full-range temperature compensation. It provides UART floating-point digital output and 0.4 ~ 2 V analog output, operating from -40 ℃ to +70 ℃, intrinsically safe. Compliant with GB15322 combustible gas detectors and AQ6211-2008 coal-mine NDIR methane sensors — suitable for industrial plants, traffic tunnels, energy & power, oil & petrochemicals, coal mine roadways and gas drainage.
Key Features
- Higher resolution than G4: 0.01%VOL (0-5%VOL) / 0.5%LEL (0-100%LEL) / 10 ppm (0-5000 ppm)
- Faster response than G4, T90 < 25 s (free diffusion)
- Improved long-term stability, full-range temperature compensation
- Wide operating range: -40 ℃ to +70 ℃
- Floating-point digital output + 0.4 ~ 2 V analog output
- No catalytic poisoning, no oxygen dependency, intrinsically safe
